How do I tell if jewelry is real?

The easiest way to recognize the authenticity of a piece of jewelry is by looking at the stamp , which provides information about the fineness of the precious metal. This stamp indicates the purity (carat) of the precious metal.

For silver this is usually 925, for gold it is 585 or 750. Lower amounts of gold can be found in 333 gold. However, we do not use this at CAPULET Jewelry.
